The world leading solution from IBM, Maximo is one of the most widely deployed CMMS solutions that helps manage every aspect of facility management.

YouBIM is a SAAS (Software as a Service) cloud based solution that brings an integrated database and instant access to facility information through an easy-to-navigate 3D/BIM (Building Information Modeling) interface.

The story

When Robins & Morton construction (a top 10 ENR rated health care builder) and MaineGeneral Healthcareteamed up to build the largest IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) hospital in North America they knew they wanted to take BIM to the next level.

MaineGeneral relies on Maximo to manage all of their existing facilities and would also be deploying in on this the newest property.

The key elements of their requirements: ease of use, smooth 3D navigation, scalability, seamless integration between Maximo and the 3D models, disaster planning and integration into the Buildings Automation Systems(BAS).

YouBIM has been implemented using the 3D model geometry tied and configured to the deep feature tools of Maximo. Inside the YouBIM environment users get the full benefits of navigating their building in a virtual online landscape, while getting all the benefits of Maximo powerful database and support features. By using the YouBIM 3D model for their facility engineering, facility techs and janitorial staff get immediate locational information about a problem in their building, and also can access the power of Maximo support database.
