One of the most important goals of the utilization of BIM is the physical coordination of systems between disciplines, for proper and efficient installation in the field. The ENGworks BIM Coordination process involves Clash Detection reports, Constructability reviews, virtual and/or personal Coordination meetings with architects, engineers, consultants, construction manager(s) and sub-contractors.
ENGworks is fully capable of organizing and running the Coordination phase of a construction project, having led coordination and modeling efforts on dozens of multi-million square foot projects. We begin the process by tailoring our WebAxis® product (an online collaboration tool based on Microsoft Sharepoint® technology) specifically for the project on which it is being used. Individual project schedules, Gantt charts, email alerts, documentation hosting, RFI logs, and project specific group contact lists are all smoothly integrated into one easy to use, easy to access site.
We can further assist by assigning to your design team or to the construction site one (or more) of our BIM professionals in your office or in the field (on-site support) for the duration of the project(s), while the rest of the team at ENGworks assists you from our office(s).
